 BASES Y CONDICIONES 2013 Art. 1º – OBJETIVOS DEL FESTIVAL La comunidad de Don Torcuato convoca a participar del Festival de Cine de Don Torcuato (FCDT)con el objetivo de promover el interés por las artes audiovisuales e integrar la participación local y la experiencia profesional para encontrar la identidad artística de la región. Art. 2º – OBRAS (REQUISITOS DE ADMISIÓN) Los artistas están invitados a presentar sus obras según el siguiente formato: NOMBRE DEL DIRECTOR NACIONALIDAD FECHA DE NACIMIENTO DOCUMENTO DE IDENTIDAD TELEFONO DE CONTACTO TITULO DE LA PELICULA SINOPSIS LOS FILMS DE LENGUA EXTRAJERA DEBERAN CONTAR CON EL SUBTITULO EN ESPAÑOL, PARA PODER PARTICIPAR. LA PELICULA PARTICIPANTE EN FORMATO DIGITAL: VOB o a través de http://www.clickforfestivals.com SI EL ENVÍO DE MATERIAL SE REALIZA VIA CORREO POSTAL: 3 COPIAS DE LA PELICULA EN FORMATO DVD. Art. 3º – CONVOCATORIA GENERAL Desde el 15 de ABRIL hasta el 28 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE 2013 se enviará la información y los materiales solicitados a la dirección de correo electrónico festivaldecinedt@gmail.com o a la dirección postal: Bolivia 867, Don Torcuato, Partido de Tigre, Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Código Postal 1611. Todo material recibido fuera de fecha no será evaluado. De la misma forma no serán considerados quienes no envíen la información completa y los materiales solicitados. La falta de datos requeridos sobre la obra, podría invalidar la inscripción, a solo juicio del Comité de Selección. Art. 4º – SELECCIÓN El Comité de Selección podrá rechazar aquellas obras que puedan incomodar al público (Ejemplo: obras que descalifiquen a un grupo étnico, temas raciales, de discriminación, obras que incentiven a la violencia, o que ofendan al publico general). El Comité de Selección, y el jurado puntuarán a los trabajos en base a los siguientes factores: creatividad del guión, calidad de la producción (vestuario, edición, banda sonora e imagen) y desempeño de los actores. Además, las producciones deben estar habladas en español o estar subtitulada a este idioma. Art. 5º – LOS FILMS Los Films competidores serán clasificados en las diferentes categorías por el jurado, y la selección, como toda decisión del jurado, es inapelable. De esta manera competirán por el premio de cada categoría, y asimismo, los ganadores competirán entre sí por el premio al “Mejor Cortometraje”. Las categorías son: Mejor Cortito, Mejor Temática y Mejor Ficción. Toda la información sobre las categorías estará disponible en el sitio web del evento. Art. 6º – COMITE DE SELECCIÓN Y JURADO El Comité de Selección nominado por los organizadores del evento para elegir junto al jurado a los films mas aptos para la participación del evento según los estándares preestablecidos. El Jurado estará conformado por reconocidas figuras del medio con el fin de puntuar las producciones participantes y otorgarle así los premios correspondientes. Art. 7º – EXHIBICIÓN Por el hecho de participar con la presentación de sus obras en el FESTIVAL DE CINE DE DON TORCUATO (FCDT), el autor presta su conformidad, en caso de resultar su obra seleccionada y brinda la autorización a los organizadores del evento para que esta reproduzca por medio digital la obra seleccionada por tiempo indefinido. Los participantes de la convocatoria autorizan a los organizadores del FESTIVAL DE CINE DE DON TORCUATO (FCDT)a utilizar y reproducir parcialmente las producciones audiovisuales presentadas en cualquier soporte y/o formato, citando su autoría, registro de la exposición de las obras seleccionadas, o cualquier otra forma de exhibición organizada por los mismos, excluyendo toda otra reproducción o exhibición que persiga fines comerciales. Art. 8º – ACEPTACIÓN El simple hecho de participar en el presente implica el conocimiento y aceptación de las presentes bases y condiciones. La falta de cumplimiento de la totalidad de los requisitos e información requerida en los artículos anteriores de las presentes “Bases y Condiciones” invalidará la presentación de los artistas a la convocatoria sin derecho a reclamo alguno. Article 3 - GENERAL CALL From April 15 to 28 SEPTEMBER 2013se send the requested information and materials to the email address festivaldecinedt@gmail.com or ZIP STEERING: Bolivia 867, Don Torcuato, Tigre, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. Article 4 - SELECTION The Selection Committee may reject any works that may disturb the public (Example: works that disqualify an ethnic, racial issues, discrimination, works that encourage violence, or offensive to the general public). The Selection Committee, and the jury will score the work based on the following factors: creativity of the script, production quality (costumes, editing, sound and image) and performance of actors. Furthermore, the productions should be spoken in Spanish or be subtitled into this language. Article 5 - THE FILMS The Films competitors will be classified into different categories by the jury, and the selection, as any decision of the jury is final. Thus compete for the prize in each category, and also, the winners will be competing for the award for "Best Short Film". The categories are: Best Cortito, Best Theme and Best Fiction. All information about the categories will be available on the website of the event. Article 6 - Selection Committee and Jury The selection committee nominated by the organizers of the event with the jury to choose the most suitable films for the participation of the event according to preset standards.
